Established in 2005 and based in Ireland, Chronolux provide a selection of some of the finest watches in production to discerning customers in Ireland, the UK and indeed, worldwide. We only ever deal exclusively in genuine, authentic and brand new pieces, in their boxes and as they left their manufactures.
Chronolux do not wish to give the impression that we are Authorised Dealers or agents of the brands which we sell. Rather, we are independent from the manufacturers and therefore are not constrained by their pricing policies. We offer the identical wristwatch and packaging which you can purchase from an appointed dealer, but at a fraction of their price.

There has been a continuous growth in popularity and awareness of high quality mechanical wristwatches over the last ten years, following an unsettled period when the accuracy, maintenance and price of the popular quartz watch almost extinguished the demand for the master watchmakers’ skills.
But a quartz movement, although precise, is somewhat soulless when compared to a heart which beats in a symphony of several hundred miniscule hand-assembled moving parts performing in perfect concert. With complications ranging from ‘simple’ hours and minutes, date or de-centralised small seconds through chronograph, moon phase, annual calendar and perpetual calendar and on to the tourbillon – and beyond. These tiny time machines surely are amongst the greatest triumphs of mechanical micro-engineering.
With the increase in appreciation for finer wristwatches, they are now not only seen as a device for measuring the time of day, but as a cherished possession, an heirloom perhaps, or as a shrewd investment. They are also viewed with a greater, more sympathetic understanding of the watchmakers’ craftsmanship, and the various delicate complications which they manage to integrate within the confines of the watch case.
